I've heard people refer to Linkin Park as emo music, but I'm not exactly sure why. I mean, yeah, they do sing about common emotions and they do tend to sing about common things, but who doesn't? I don't get it *thoughtful look*

I never considered you any such thing. A matter of fact I think you probably are a decent person on the inside. You just really suck at showing it. And your words seem to contain a lot of pain. Some of the Obese population is just because they are plain lazy like you say... Which actually consists of a lot of people living in the US. Sometimes people get into this very stressful time where they gain some weight then fad diet and lose a bit but yoyo back even en worse than befor and do it again and again and once you hit a certain weight it is very hard to lose it. Once you gain a certain amount of weight (whatever weight your body don't seem to want to handle - which can be 10lbs to 200lbs depending on your frame, height, stamena, muscle, metabolizme, and many other factors) you really feel the weight and it makes it harder and harder to do anything about it. Then they have you spend $30k to get one of the dozen sergeries out there where you lose weight too fast adn your body freaks out and you feel like you are dying anyway.

Different places have a different amount of obese people anyway. Where I live most of the people are druggies or asian so aren't really all that big.. maybe 1 in 100 noticebly over weight. I mean come on.. 5-15lbs isn't over weight though acording to some bmi charts you are considered obese because of it.

--- Oh yea and I can't really respond to the poll because in some cases it is and some it isn't.. so there is no yes or no .. and i dunno doesn't work either

5-15 may not be, but where I'm at it's usually at least 20-40 and that's way too much.

And did you know that there's actually a really heavy/obese/fat/(however you want to put it) guy that runs marathons because he's in such good shape? I thought it was pretty cool myself

As for the pole it's directed at your area specifically not all the areas of the world. So it should be very answerable. From what you said it'd be more of a 'NO' or 'MAYBE'.

And FYI I do respect the obese people that can't help it, it's merely the lazy ones that annoy me. I thought I made that clear but apparently not I'll go edit my post right now

When a girl has girl problems we say it's a girl thing because most (I say most not all) guys don't care about the topic or we don't think they'd be able to help because it has to do with a girls opinion and point of view... i personally hate the "you wouldn't understand" comment and don't use it because growing up MEN told me that all the time assuming I was dumb or soemthing because i was cute.

Well guys on the other hand when we get cranky assume they did nothing wrong and say "oh it's that time of the month" or bs like that (which pisses me off too)... and because you are guys you get to go out alone sooner usually or alone when a girl usually cant since girls are know usually to be less physically stong and are more likely to be ubducted and/or raped.

Personally i'd rather be a guy and be called a lovable oaf instead of being considered the weaker gender but more mature. Both genders have their biases...

(PS: some guys are lovable oafs... better than being an unlovable jackass don't you think?)

I get that phrase on almost a daily basis. And I'm constantly treated as a lesser person because I'm a guy. It often times gets frustrating and lately I've fealt quite underrated. Though for exactly the same reason you don't use that phrase any more I never say anything like that to my sisters. Yet I still get crap.

In the end I'd have to say I feel a bit shorted but I can see where you're coming from (I often take the same POV myself).
