What exactly is emo music?
I've heard people refer to Linkin Park as emo music, but I'm not exactly sure
why. I mean, yeah, they do sing about common emotions and they do tend to sing
about common things, but who doesn't? I don't get it *thoughtful look*

lol...well hmm emo music is more whiney than that Emo is
supposedly a form of punk music...but it's really just a form of crap lol. It's
more or less "poser sell-out punk" with horribly whiney depressing or
over exagerated music. I can't beleive they compare it to punk/ska...it's sad.
It sounds like punk in the instruments sense, but it's not punk. Some emo bands
are My Chemical Romance, Dashboard Confessional, and about a million other
people are making emo bands now. Music these days....

I never considered you any such thing. A matter of fact I think you probably are
a decent person on the inside. You just really suck at showing it. And your

I don't find glee in verbally harassing others. I find glee in
blown-out-of-proportion drama created from small, insignificant things. I also
gain a sense of pride to know I played a part in it. But, in the end, I doubt it
will hurt me at all, since there are so many others I could befriend.
My ideas are cliche, eh? Meh, I'm not too worried about it - wasting my time
trying to find an idea that no one out there considers cliche is not on my list
of prorities.
In a way, Man does influence God, but that leads to mostly philosophical BS that
has no bearing on day-to-day life. If by that you mean that I have no influence
over you, I could disagree on many levels - technically, I've influenced you by
wasting your time. Or, as you've said, I helped you "realize something
about" yourself. I guess thats an influence, eh? Since I have no real goal
in changing you (indeed, the thought never crossed my mind) - throwing ideas at
you is a way for me to organize my own, and they are still vulnerable to change
overnight as I see fit.

Though, you may be surprised upon learning my values and ideals.
There is a general theory concerning those "meaning of life" questions
(such as the said fundamental rule of life) that each truth varies for each
person. You know, with people having different values or things they hold
sacred. My "rule of life" could be (and probably is) drastically
different from yours - for example, I hold basic fundamental rights of humans as
sacred, which include things like the derived right to suicide (hence my
response to ether). Because you don't have the right to not be offended, I like
to be very liberal in my way of presenting myself. While I'm open to learning
your particular "rule of life", it does not mean I'll embrace it.
Its not that I'm trying to define you, its just that I'm trying to piss you off
- its almost a sport, really. I don't need to understand you to do so, as most
people are easily angered by the same things. While I don't necessarily disagree
with you, I do believe what I say. When I say ether should find his own reasons
to live, instead of putting the burden of his existence on us, I meant it. When
I claim that your faschist rules of the use of a cell phone are ridiculously
overcompensating, and your general tone a bit immature (*gasp*, I used your
word...but it fits well), I meant it. Sure, I could have worded it in a more
sensitive fashion, but I have little patience for that type of thing. Its a flaw
of mine, to be sure, but I find it rather entertaining regardless.
I'm not attempting to use logic, really, I'm just presenting ideas in response

I personally think we (the U.S.) needed a slap accross the head to wake us out
of our stupor of 'we're the best' and
show us that there are other people out there and they are fully capable of
striking at us with great force.

Yes I think it's time to move on, but we should not forget the lessons 9/11
taught us.
We should be growing rather than mourning and that's all there is to

Someone finally gets it! My family and my school (catholic school. Bleh.) have
been trying to make me christian or catholic since I was born. In one period, I
did become christian, but I soon realized how phycotic the whole thing was, and
quickly got out of there. It's just good to know that there are still guys like
you arround who see the whole picture and not the "lord is my shepard"

also epidemics really aply to over all where it is usually... like if there is a
flu one place and it spreads a lot... but if like a few people have it spread
around and some places other people get it and some places other people don't
i'm not really sure if it would actually clasify as an epidemic. Plus an
epidemic is usually uncontrolable unless contained. you can't really prevent
other people from getting fat by taking and quarentining other fat people... but
when people see more fat people they feel more comfortable becoming fat
themselves because there are other people like them
